award-winning one acre country garden
Started in 1986, Malcom Simm & Tim Gittins began their garden which started out as an interesting collection of brambles and nettles. Through the years they have created an award winning 1 acre sloping country garden, comprising of a formal rose and topiary garden, relaxed perennial planting, and an ornamental pond. The summerhouse overlooks the gravel and rock gardens, with the garden finishing in a natural pond and woodland area. The garden is open every year for charity through the National Gardens Scheme.
