The Garden Pictorial

THE GIBBERD GARDEN, HARLOW TOWN

Created between 1957 and 1984 by town planner and architect Sir Frederick Gibberd, the garden combines stunning design and whimsical humour. It is full of sculptures and what Sir Frederick called ‘decorative objects’. The January snow turns the garden, with its sculptures, follies, streams, glades and arboretum into a very special winter wonderland.
